The Sunshine and Shadow pattern has always seemed a little trippy to me, especially when you take a few steps back and look at the pattern from a distance. They almost seems like a version of a mandala of sorts. Their common ground is using many small squares and arranging them in diagonal rows from light colors to darker ones (generally).
